Psychic Vampires, energy zappers and protection

Thank you for your response...what it is, is every time I speak with this certain individual I am told by them that they feel much stronger every time they speak with me and that they feel like they can do anything and face anything and that it doesn't happen when they speak with anyone else...but I just feel weaker and weaker each time I speak with this person and I never feel enhanced or stronger at all...I start to feel stronger once I have been away from this person for more than a day but then start to feel weak again once I have contact with them...I have tried to visualise surrounding myself with white and purple light...I have even tried to make sure I am grounded with roots coming from my feet into the earth...I am obviously not doing it properly although it seems to have helped a little...Is there anything you can suggest for me to help protect my energy field better?...Thank you very much...

This person may not deliberately or knowingly understand what they're doing on a conscious level, but there are people who prey on others for their own survival. Sometimes it'd subtle like the average co-dependant relationship, and on the other extreme, it can be practicing majick. Either way, it certainly doesn't seem to be a healthy relationship for you to take part in. If it isn't something you can easily walk away from, then do a better job in protecting yourself. There are many other techniques and you might want to try multiple methods. Do your white light visualizations and say a prayer to your guides and Angels before you see the person or communicate with them through any means, including phone and email. I do email readings because I am able to carry enough energy from them to work with. Carry a dark stone in your pocket like Obsidian or any stone that absorbs negativity on your behalf. Be sure to cleanse and program the stone before use and then cleanse it regularly. Consider smudging yourself after you have seen this person and don't see them in your home if possible. If you do, then you have a lot of smudging to do. People leave energy prints everywhere. Study other methods--there are a few more.

It would also be nice if you could help them without sacrificing yourself. Just like people who have chemistry with someone, "zappers" don't zap everyone (my Aunt Dorothy might be the exception Roll Eyes

), so it might be in your best interest to refer them to a therapist of some kind. They are seeking to fill something missing in their life and like most unhealthy relationships, people often try filling it with all the wrong things. Certain professionals could help. If however their free will intention is to drain your energy deliberately like a vampire, then you probably can't help them.
