discarnate1. A division of the universe. The psi concept envisions a physical world and an ethereal realm each of unknown number of strata. The evidence about the ethereal suggests many spiritual planes, which are referred to, at times, as dimensions, or levels. 2. Measurement characteristics about the size of things, such as, the aura, the spirit body.
discernment1. Without body. One who survived death, discarded the corporal body, and now exists in the etheric realm in astral body. 2. Loosely used to mean any intangible disembodied element as a soul, spirit or personality. See decarnate.
discipleA Gift of the Spirit, achieved after much interaction between conscious mind and higher consciousness. The goal of the disciple is realized as the energy of the soul from its level and the higher mind blend in new awareness.
disease (dis-ease)1. (esoteric) a first- or second-degree initiate. 2. (common) A pupil or follower who helps spread a Master's teachings. Those who follow a particular discipline according to a prescribed pattern but also recognize much free will and understanding. 3. Those subscribing to a constant habit of spiritual living whose knowledge, capacities, and spiritual abilities are demonstrated in daily life.
disintegrationDisharmony between levels of self which results in a breakdown of health in any of the personality sheaths.
displacementThe separation of the essential organization or harmony of the subject's personality. Such disunity of body, mind, soul, spirit, psyche can be brought about by an overload, over-extension or misuse of one's use of ESP.
