Ancient Hawaiian religious faith that brings illuminating knowledge and information regarding psychic skills, (the unknown becomes known). A strict discipline for those who are willing to learn and accept discipline.

Kali

(Sanskrit) "Black" Great Goddess, wife of Shiva in wrathful aspect, signifying destruction of the ego, illusion.

kama-loka

(Sanskrit) Desire-world, after-life, or a state of mind or consciousness marked by desire or attachment.

kama manas

Mind colored by desire (ambition/personal love, masculine/feminine – equally selfish). The lower mind or animal soul for lower or reincarnating ego.

(Hindu) "Love Text", sex manual attributed to Vatsyayana 1st century.

1. (Japanese) Nature gods of Shintoism. 2. Vital life force.

karma

From Hinduism and Buddhism. The sum and the consequences of a person at any time during any of the life spans (incarnations on earth). Assumes reincarnation to be fact. The recorded accounting for all good, evil and indifference accompanies the entity and is a determiner of the soul's destiny in succeeding reincarnations. Karma is constantly created; natural law of Cause and Effect.

Karma Yoga

Path of selfless service, teaching of Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita.

karmic debt

The accumulation of negation in one's karma at any particular time.

key birthdate figures

Biorhythm numbers that have been mathematically computed so one will not have to refigure one's bio-rhythm chart by the long method each month; these numbers remain constant throughout life.

key to hexagram

Chart used to find the number of one's passage in the I Ching.

keyword

Descriptive term in astrology for a planet or sign.

ki (ch'i)

(Chinese) 1. Universal life energy. 2. Natural electromagnetic energy of Heaven and Earth that carries consciousness as well as energy to the meridians, chakras, and cells. 3. Vitality, strength.

Muscle testing in which the person holds the substance in question while being tested for muscular resistance responses.

kinetic energy phenomena

Movement of objects spontaneously, unwilled, and without mundane means.

Kirlian photography

Aura or energy field photography developed by Semyon and Valentina Kirlian in Russia, 1939. Taking pictures of the emanations and radiations surrounding objects and persons, which the human eye does not see.

kismet

(Turkish) Destiny, fate.

knocks

A noise that sounds like a human knocking on a wall, chair, or within the walls and heard while sitting in a seance; often a code of yes and no is established, allowing questions to be asked by the sitters. Originated by etheric world intelligence using ectoplasm from the medium and sitters to perform.

knowledge

Other than the common use as the fact of knowing, usage often infers enlightenment in the possession of fact and truth of the whole universe of psi, i.e., ESP, with developed access to the understanding of the etheric process.

An ancient injunction inscribed over the temple of Apollo at Delphi. The teachings held that to know another, we must first know ourselves.

Singer of the Bhagavad Gita, adviser to the Pandus in the Mahabharata, incarnation of Vishnu, Supreme Personality of Godhead, the wisdom of the wise.

kua

(Chinese) Trigam or hexagram in the I Ching.

Kuan Yin

The Eastern name given to the Chinese feminine deity which appears from time to time to inspire and comfort humanity, known as the Bodhisativa of Compassion. She is the embodiment of beauty and purity. As the wise woman of matriarchy, the healer-teacher sage, she represents the three aspects of holding strength in restraint, unity, and caring love.

Kumaras

Guardians of the power of planets; arbiters of nations and continents; judges of good and evil.

kundalini

Primordial cosmic energy coiled up like a serpent with three and a half coils with head downwards at the spinal base in the muladhara or root chakra.
