walk-in

A high-minded entity from the spirit plane who is permitted under certain circumstances to take over the unwanted bodies of other human beings.

Though the modern English defination is a male witch, sorcerer, wizard, or demon, the original Scottish meaning is traitor or oath breaker.

The scattering of small drops of water or perfume on the sitters, walls, and furniture during a seance signifying and indication from spirit that they approve of the activity or thoughts.

Another term for dowsing.

A feeling of suction that some feel during astral projection when the astral body pulls away from the physical body.

Essential function of being, experienced as purpose, choice, causality, ability to express or act; with three aspectsstrong, skillful, good.

wisdom

1. Intuitive knowledge of the mind of love and clarity that lies beneath one's ego-driven anxieties and aggressions. 2. An advanced level of comprehension. Steps taught in spiritual understanding areinformation (data and concepts), knowledge (use of), and wisdom (the ability to synthesize, to see spiritual relationships). The dedicated observation and practice of knowledge results in wisdom.

wisdom teachings

A collection of wisdom; a body of knowledge about the hidden nature of humanity and the world held sacred through all time.

wise ones

A common title signifying those trained in the wisdom of the esoteric.

witch

A person who bends energy and shapes consciousness.

witch-doctor

A practitioner skilled in magical arts and occultism.

witchcraft

Religion believing that man has fallen from the Godhead and will return by working to perfect himself; belief in the superiority of the mother goddess, who represents nature; emphasizing harmony with nature and trying to appeal to this harmony by using ceremonies, rituals and amulets.
