Creative Visualization

by Francine Milano

Creative visualization can be a useful tool in goal achievement. Its an easy way to communicate your desires to the ethers through the power of your imagination using the energies of the Universe to create your reality. The Vibrations we put out into the Universe is what returns to us. So, if you dwell on negativity all the time, you will attract more of the same. Concentrate on the things or situations you DO want in your life and the negative aspects will seem to fade away as you attract more of what you're focusing on.

Once you have decided on a goal, close your eyes and imagine your desires as if they have already been obtained, creating as many details as possible. It is only necessary to do this for a few minutes at a time, but it should be done twice a day. Understand that most requests of the Universe don't appear in a "POOF!" and that you may have to put some effort and patience into it.

Here's another exercise for reinforcement. Be creative by using colored paper, crayons and markers to express your desires on the physical level as well. Draw your goals in detail, glue down pictures from magazines or simply make a colorful wish list. Place your finished product under your mattress for a few months where your spirit contemplates as you sleep, looking at it often as a reminder. Or you may choose to paste in onto the refrigerator where you can't help but see it a few times every day. Don't be surprised to find yourself checking things off the list as they manifest into reality.

There are cautions to be aware of when doing any form of creative visualization technique. BE CAREFUL OF WHAT YOU ASK FOR! Always, always include in your wishes that your goals be achieved 'for the best and highest good for all concerned' in order to protect yourself and others. This insurance guards against harm that could result from unintentionally using the wrong words, like losing a limb because you innocently asked for quick weight loss or becoming seriously ill because you asked for early retirement. You may also want to avoid using phrases such as 'I want' or 'I need' or you may always find yourself in 'want' or 'need'. The ether's will take your words very literally. Remember, the vibrations we put out into the Universe is what returns to us. You also want to keep in mind that it is always best to imagine goals and desires as if they have already been achieved because that is what we wish to create, the final product. Otherwise, you may be manifesting it as if it will always be in the future and never actually within reach.

Not quite convinced? Think about all of the people who have cured themselves of terminal illness such as cancer through the power of the mind. Even some children are given visualization techniques for pain management. Look at you own life and examine all the ups and downs you've had. You may find it's been a wild roller coaster ride. If you analyze a little closer, you may come to realize what you did or thought that actually created your circumstances, even if they were thoughts many years prior.

Whether you work on one desire at a time or several all at once, creative visualization can truly manifest dreams. The infinite energy of the Universe is only limited by the power of your imagination.
