To abide deep in unfathomable realms,
Engulfed in a deluge of lucid images.There- There- Resides the mystical authority,
Hallways to paradise emerge from the haze. What mysteries unfold in silent thought,
Visualize images within life's enigma.Ponder a reflection and see it's echo,
Taste Joy, kiss love, hug quietude. Release the unknown glory of magnificence.

As children bring thier broken toys
With tears for us to mend,
I brought my broken dreams to God
Because He was my friend. But instead of leaving Him
In peace to work alone,
I hung around and tried to help
With ways that were my own.At last I snatched them back and cried,
"How can you be so slow?"
"My child," He said, "What could I do?
You never let them go."
"I'll lend you for a little while a child of mine," God said,
"For you to love the while he lives and mourn for when he's dead.
It may be six or seven years or forty-two or three,
But will you, till I call him back, take care of Him for me?""He'll bring his charms to gladden you and should his stay be brief,
You'll have all you memories as a solace for your grief.
I cannot promise he will stay since all from Earth return,
But there are lessons taught below I want this child to learn.""I've looked this whole world over in my search for teachers true,
and from the things that crowd life's lane, I have chosen YOU.
Now will you give him all your love nor think the labor vain?
Nor hate me when I come to take this lent child back again?""I fancied that I heard I heard them say," 'Dear God - Thy will be done.
For all the joys Thy child will bring the risk of grief we'll run.
We will shelter him with tenderness, we'll love while we may,
And for the hapiness we've known forever grateful stay.
But should Thy Angels call for him much sooner than we'd planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand.'"
When you find a dream inside your heart
Don't ever let it go.....For dreams are the tiny seeds
From which tomorrows grow.
Live each day to the fullest.
Get the most from each hour, each day,
and each age of your life.
Then you can look forward with confidence,
and back without regrets.
Be yourself...but be your best self.
Dare to be different and follow your own star.
Don't be afraid to be happy...enjoy what is beautiful.
Love with all your heart and soul.
Believe that those you love, love you.
When you are faced with decision,
make that decision as wisely as possible, then forget it.
The moment of absolute certainty never arrives.
And above all, remember that God helps those who help themselves.
Act as if everything depended on you
And pray as if everything depended on God.- SH Payer
There'll be days when you are lonely,
wasting hours, lost in doubt.
There'll be bouts of insecurity,
listening, as your soul cries out. There'll be distance when you lose your way,
needing faith, to fight your fears.
There'll be longing for that sun filled day,
when love, sheltered you from tears. There'll be moments you spend wrenched with pain,
in storms, you can't control.
There'll be seasons when you seek some peace,
a place, where you are whole. There'll be nights when you desire someone,
to help soothe, and justify you.
There'll be dreams throughout eternity,
look there, my love still guides you.

Dedicated to Howie, Bobbie and a memory of loving intent
Eight of God's children stood in the light
Reporting for duty, to do was rightAngels came down and blessed us that day
and day after day, they continued to playIt was said with such joy, "Welcome Home" to new faces
who soon became leaders and praised His good graces. Then came the clouds and the wind and the hail
It seemed like God's plan was starting to failChange is a constant, I now realize why
It allows for the lessons, and learn we must trySo everything did go according to plan
It was ego to think it was mapped out by manI still choose to remember the intention that night
when eight of God's children stood in the light

Somebody's Angel
A tribute to my Mother and Dad, who've often been "Somebody's Angel"
and who've many times been mine. Some say that angels come from God,
Borne here on wings snow white,
To touch some human being's life
While on their heavenly flight. That may be true, for so it seems
To happen, now and then.
Some heavenly being reaches down
To touch the hearts of men.But there's another kind of gift
That comes from God to men.
It happens when a human heart
Is filled with love again. And this can happen any time,
On any given day,
If human hearts will hear Love's call
And let Love have its way.But human hearts are often shy,
And fear what men would say.
They also fail to see how Love
Could use them in this way.And so they miss the chance to be
Somebody’s Angel when
A caring word, a thoughtful deed
Would’ve brought love back again. So listen, friend, and heed Love's call
To help someone in need.
Somebody's Angel, on this day,
Just may be you or me.Charles David Heineke

You Revisited
Touching you is as elemental as breathing. My hands journey your plains,
delight in this familiar terrain
and relish the road many times travelled. On an ordinary day, your farewell:
"We'll find each other."
Profound statement typifies us--
this intrinsic connection
rooted deep in the past.I dissect, seek logical.
Granted diminutive recollection
of the life we shared,
before you were you and I was me.
Memories surpass this mundane reality.I study you,
so comfortable in your secret skin.
Hear the echo from our common past?
Then, we made no excuse for our actions,
and analytics was a foreign language. You gibe me and recoil.
Instantaneously,
we return to original artists and the day's events.
I comply; you’re a story worth re-reading.You lower your eyes,
talk of the impending storm.
My visage is lucid...
the embellished man of the present
standing behind the naked soul of the past.(c) Linda M. Noyola 8/96

The Screaming Fields
I return again to my surrogate shelter,
the halcyon screaming fields.
Welcomed as a mother Cardinal
returns to the nest to feed her young.I absorb this in my pores,
drink this elixer of rapture,
fill my lungs with life.
So much ahead of me,
I found a mountain of hope.In this sweet silence, I hear blood in my veins,
and the gentle hum of nature's breath.
Breathtaking desolation welcomes me
with yawning trees and dancing grass.
We, two distinct elements that commune
in language unknown.My throat contracts,
primal sounds growl from within;
my voice a twisted symphony
dedicated to the sky.
My mantra is complete. The screaming field, and brother wind
cradle me in vast, invisible arms.
My echo a resonant din,
release is achieved. You've proved to be
a lighthouse of comfort,
a harbor in the tempest.
I offer a silent prayer of farewell...
now that I have come to find Home.7/97 Linda M. Noyola

For the Soulless
Find yourself Animal, walking
hungry lost to be eaten.
Find yourself metal cold
to burn if they will it.
Find yourself cried aloud
in the Stillness for Echoes.
Find yourself without pictures
for the names of your WordsSearch yourself Animal walking
far in the Darkness.
Search yourself metal cold
rusted thick with great care.
Search yourself cried aloud
in the Stillness, and Echoes.
Search yourself without pictures
for the names of your Words.
Lose yourself Animal walking
asleep in the Throat.
Lose yourself metal cold
never burns when its gone.
Lose yourself cried aloud
in the Stillness for Echoes.
Lose yourself in the pictures
of the names for your Words.Warren Reuschel, Jr.

Slow Down To Hear
I hear it now
those children playing on the merry-go-round
Even today I listened to the rain
touching the trees, lawns and the ground
I watched a butterfly's erratic flight
and even gazed at the sun fading into the nightEach day as eyes meet and "How are you?" sounds out
Do I wait to hear the reply?
When the day is done lying in bed
many visions running so lightly through my head?
remember," we'll do it tomorrow",
and in haste not see sorrow? losing touchWhen running so fast to get somewhere,
and miss half the fun of getting there.
When there is worry and hurry in a day,
it's like an unopened gift thrown away.
Life is not a race, so take it slower,
hear the music before the song is over.Comments to Patti or visit her webpage.

Impossible Dreams
Hope for those things you know you can never have
Dream for those things that you know are impossible
Keep the visions in your soul and mind, never let go
For if truly, you began to hope and dream for those
things that others have always told you are impossible
Then you might find one day, that your dreams have become
a reality, and your hopes have long since been fulfilled
Take always, up into yourself, to find what you have there
Search your thoughts, express your feelings
and build your strength within
Believe in what you are right now, and who you are inside
and soon you'll see that in being free
your life will turn out fineBack to Top of Page Back to Insights Back to SpiritNetwork Home
A Choice In Life
Don't ever give in, to the forces of the past
Never be afraid, to make a moment really last
Always strive for greatness, in all you say and do
Let everyone see, the very best inside of you
Show only kindness, to the people that you meet
And never let yourself, give up in self-defeat
Always take the time, to hear what others say
And always ask yourself, What more can I do today
Never say anything, you know you will regret
And never let the small things, get you so upset
Believe in the power, that you hold within your mind
And keep the goals you make, in sight and well defined
Always hold your head up, with dignity and pride
Let the values you hold within, be your truest guide
Never stop growing, learn everything you can
And before you start something new, be sure to have a plan
Start everyday, with a smile upon your face
And never take anything, you know you can't replace
Always give more, than your expecting to receive
And in your fellow man, try always to believe
Never be afraid to ask, for a helping hand
And always take a moment, to try to understand
Try to make a difference, in all the lives you share
And always show the ones you love, that you really care
These are the choices, that I always strive to use
And always keep in mind, you have the choice to chooseAlways Choose to Make a Difference, and
Make a Difference in All that You Choose.Back to Top of Page Back to Insights Back to SpiritNetwork Home
