That is an age old question that has been pondered to pieces by some of the greatest thinkers. And yet, the answer is still being realized. So, let's take just one more step together and discover a little bit more of just who we are.
We mention so often and so nonchalantly about our after-life. You know, the 'when I get to Heaven, or, hope I don't go to Hell' type of talk. Well, just by the sheer nature of that type of reference, we are disclosing a very basic truth. We are, at the core of our self, eternal beings. We easily speak of our inner self as being actively involved in the Eternal realm like that is our rightful permanent residence. So, while we are scrambling around in this physical realm, stressing out over temporary details, we are professing to be eternal beings. In other words, We, so easily get our priorities confused and assume that the daily busy schedule is what life is all about, when actually we are actively involved in (and even profess) a much greater picture, the eternal picture.
Let's take a look at that profession of truth that we so readily make. First of all, spirit is spirit and physical is physical. The two realms have individual and separate qualities, and yet are coexisting during this time-space interim. This physical realm, for example, is earmarked by birth and death. Everything in this realm has been born in some way and will ultimately decease in some way. Even our planet Earth and our precious Sun have an origin and an expiration date. The spiritual realm, on the other hand, does not have this feature. Eternity is the corresponding feature within the spiritual realm. But, just what does eternity actually mean? Yeah, Yeah, we all know, living forever and never dying. But, the rest of that definition includes - having always lived and never been born. Go ahead, look it up; Eternal - that characteristic of having no beginning nor end.
The realization of that definition certainly opens up a new horizon. If we thought we were eternal beings, apparently that core of us was never born, but in fact, has always been. Always? Not just a few lifetimes ago, but always. As in, before time began, we always were. In other words, way, way back when God decided to separate light from darkness, we were there, and still had always been. Before religions, before "Heaven" and "Hell", before any of man ever existed, we had always been. As we discover this, we are realizing our TRUE heritage and identity.
Back before light was separated from darkness , there was only God. From now on we will call God, "I AM" as a more accurate title. The all-cap titles will denote the Spirit realm. There was no contrast to I AM, no Satan, no sin, no temptation, no thought other than I AM. This is where the words omnipresent and omnipotent apply. All was one and all was I AM with no deviation anywhere. We have a hard time visualizing this concept because everything in this physical realm is a contrast to something else. The trees are a contrast to grass, as clouds contrast against the blue sky, as water contrasts against anything dry. Even all of our descriptions contain contrast, else how would we describe something? So, as we attempt to peek at our eternal selves and the Spirit realm in general, we need to bear in mind that we are looking at a realm of no contrast from a realm of total contrast. This ought to get good, huh?
So, if all was one and all was I AM with no contrast, where does that put us? WE were there, so WE were obviously an indistinguishable oneness in I AM. Actually, the Spirit part of US is still a non-divisible portion of that oneness - with no contrast. Our spirit DNA is I AM. That eternal core of US has never changed, and will never change, ever. Take a look around. In everyone, the spirit DNA is the never changing I AM, and always will be. In fact, the spirit DNA is I AM in everything because all of this realm originated from I AM. I could clarify the personage a little better by saying, I AM/US, or I AM/ME, or I AM/LIFE, or I AM/EVERYTHING, because everything is simply different levels of energy from the oneness source of no contrast.
Hmmm - Let's imagine a drop of sweat that we shed. That drop is separate from us now but a few moments ago it was not even sweat. That drop was an integral part of our body, but the situation arose as an opportunity for a thing called a drop of sweat to be assembled and sent out. That bead of sweat contains the DNA of our entire system but it sure doesn't look like the entirety of the body whence it came. As that bead of sweat was in the body (before assembling as sweat) there was no contrast between that sweat and the rest of the body. No one could have found that actual bead of sweat. So it was with all of US and ALL THAT IS. There was no way to put a piece of paper between YOU and I back when WE were oneness. All communication was instantaneous as WE were all on the same phone line, oneness. All cooperation was perfect harmony because WE thought, spoke, and acted in oneness. There was no contrast between YOU and ME at that time. And, the core of OUR beings is still "no contrast" because WE still are that same DNA.
Long ago, in forever, all of Us/I AM, the totality of everything, were humming along in a perfectly sterile environment of eternal bliss. There wasn't a speck of anything anywhere that wasn't all the perfection of all of Us/I AM. Imagine having all the energy of all eternity, with all the room of all eternity to exercise that energy, and no time limit at all on having fun with whatever project We/I AM dreamt up. Well, take another look around, because this is what We/I AM dreamt up. This was done for one reason. We/I AM wanted to experience creativity in an arena that wasn't manifest anywhere in the eternal bliss. And the only experience that was not manifest in the eternal sterile environment of bliss, was contrast. In other words, a division of energies. A situation where one form of energy is not realizing total oneness with another form. And, whereas, this is not and never will be the case in Spirit reality, an incubator type of reality could be created to accommodate this; and so the cosmos was instituted.
WE/I AM began with a contrast consciousness that had almost total amnesia in regards to true heritage so adventures of extreme contrast could be pursued. Negativity doesn't survive in an awareness environment so we minimized the awareness. Why would I steal from you if I knew we had both designed this whole realm together and can, even now, create anything we want? Where is fear if we are all co-masters of all that is? So, with some crucial limitations in place, WE/I AM totally agreed to extend a wide range of energy into this new physical realm constituting all the myriad of details from subatomic energy to the universe itself.
We/I AM actually designed this realm, to be just the way it is, back before it ever started to materialize. And naturally, We/I AM designed this incubator arena with an overall plan, from a starting point to a finish product. So, generally, whatever is here today is here because of Our/I AM's design work back then and the continuation of that through every millisecond since. By the way, there is no event nor any time period that is out of the will of Us/I AM, or out of control, or even remotely deviating from the original general plan. Mainly because We/I AM lives in, designs, and creates each moment from right here in the midst of this.
The master plan for everything, humans and all, within this incubator realm is summed up in one word "Progression". Now, progression means to take something from one state of development and nurture it along into another state. The progression plan that WE/I AM implemented consisted of starting with life forms that realized little or nothing of their true heritage. Those original forms were the early human people of many millions of years ago who knew only of "survival". They basically only knew of "food, shelter, and clothing" with no concept of the Spirit program that they themselves co-designed. They were not aware that this is a realm of apparent separation of energies and not the seemingly real separation. But down through history we see that man became more and more aware of "a bigger picture" but didn't know what to call "IT" so we called it "God". All sorts of different methods were devised to contact this greater concept and thus religions were created, wars were fought, and many people died defending, understanding, teaching and institutionalizing this "greater than" concept. This was an inner drive that WE/I AM designed into humans. This drive (to understand the whole picture) continually influences our consciousness whereas it is not a conscious quest of any other form of life on this planet. The other life forms have been created with their own subconscious level of Spirit awareness generally called instinct, but the humanoid form has been selected for, not only the conscious interaction, but also the leadership role utilizing conscious participation of the progression journey in Spirit awareness. So, as full realization is manifest in all of humanity, the contrast of all other forms will also dissolve in subsequent unison with the role models to express the beautiful oneness of all that is, as it was in the beginning. At some point along this progression, the Lion will naturally lay down with the Lamb. The conclusion of this whole creative endeavor of adventuring into divisions and separateness within I AM is the final reunion of all that is to the original glory having fully expressed. This is to be done without even a Spiritual scratch of harm, and with the added joy of having successfully completed such an audacious mission.
It's all about creating a full contrast realm; beginning with the first contrast of light and darkness, through all the myriad of separation feelings and appearances, as the concept of time goes by, and then interacting with the entire realm's progression back to the original beautiful oneness that never could be improved upon in the first place. That original state of oneness is the original purity with all the beautiful absolutes (cooperation, communication, acceptance, belonging, authority, etc), where there is not even a hint of any contrast, (Not even light from darkness) and is what We/I AM affectionately call "Home".

So, back to the original question, "Who Are We?" . We now know that OUR heritage, OUR DNA, and always the inner life of OUR being is I AM, in all of OUR eternal greatness. It, so often appears, though, that "Eternal Greatness" is not running our bodies in any glorious travel here. I don't recall having experienced absolute cooperation and absolute communication on a daily occurrence any time recently. So, what are the standards today that are applied to this mobile package (body, mind, spirit, and consciousness)? Remember, this is a contrast realm, so the vehicle of expression (body) needs to be of that nature. And yet, capable of adapting via progression into the no contrast mode. A rather tricky design to say the least. Each of our presentations are therefore designed as an individual multidimensional package that is expressing I AM creativity, personal progression and overall plan progression. And, as stated earlier, there is a start point and a finish point here in this realm. In fact, this entire contrast realm is to finalize as reassimilation into original Oneness. It is the inner workings of our individual multidimensional package and the absolute cooperation with the big picture that we are realizing more of all the time.
Well, we have briefly realized the spirit (or origin) part of our multidimensional package. Let's take a look at the other end of this package, the receiving end. This is the physically visible part of our package, the body with it's brain. As I include the brain into this portion, I am referring to the gray chemical computer positioned in the skull that manages the workings of the physical system only. This physical portion of us displays what is actually going on in the rest of the package. Similar to the actions of a car displaying the intensions of the driver. Everything that happens in the physical realm or to our physical bodies has an origin elsewhere. The entire physical realm with all of it's seemingly logical series of chronological events does not originate nor occur in and of itself. It is the cause of nothing and the result of everything.
It has been said that every imperfection in the physical body is a direct result of some type of Spiritual deficiency. First of all, there is no Spiritual deficiency because OUR DNA has never been altered and OUR/I AM Spirit has never experienced a flaw. So, somewhere between the absolute perfection of I AM and our limited, vulnerable physical bodies there is an alteration of the energies. We tend to call this dilemma a major glitch. However, it is, actually, in perfect form with the progression of design as WE intend. Now, the personal progression intention and the overall progression as originally intended has never changed a bit, but there is a lot of room for personal expression and creativity within those intensions. To be more specific, sometimes a person will die of a disease so that others will be motivated to search for a cure, which is one form of progression. Sometimes many people are at a place that gets destroyed and they experience death there. Those people were victims in this physical realm but actually volunteers in the Spirit realm. Because of their actions progression continues. There was, and is, a very important personal progression factor for each individual, but that is in perfect harmony with the overall progression plan. (Remember perfect communication and perfect cooperation?) Fear of death is not in the Spirit realm, it is only in the physical realm. Whenever an individual gets out of a body they do not suffer any loss. It's a lot like when you and I get out of one car, walk over, and get into another. It is often accepted among humans, however, that the car (our body) is our life, when actually our body is the resultant expression of our life.
Another analogy would be to look at the days of this life as parallel to the series of lives in our personal progression plan. Each morning we wake up after having been unconscious, but now we are here. It's a new day, a new start. We have some influences from yesterday, some unfinished business, and a direction we want to go today. As the day progresses, we experience the midday portion, and then on into the evening of that day. Most of us tend to slow down and relax in the evening. Do we (as adults) cry when it is time to become unconscious again (sleep)? Some people enter a day (life) for a short moment and then go back to sleep. Some go back to bed at noon. Out of all the days of our lives, does it hurt to miss one or two? So, out of all the lives of our progression, does it hurt to miss a few; or die early in a few? Let's look at this analogy one step further. When we are awake, we join forces with others in an overall project (job) that will take many days. Well, when we are born, we join forces in the overall progression plan that will take many lifetimes, and we are all in on it. Each of us contributes our own creativity to the project. We each have our own life, but are also a part of a bigger project that involves us all. And so, we each have a personal plan , and we are all in on a total overall plan, and there is lots of room for personal creativity in all of this. We are doing this. It is not being done to us. We have been doing this since light was divided from darkness.
Your individual travels may, however, involve sickness or limitations to stimulate personal progression and have very little to do with the overall plan. If this is so, you may want to use the stimulus to realize what is your individual progression step. However, the more actively involved we are in the overall progression plan, the more exchange we will have with others, and our personal lives benefit greatly. These plans do not have a time limit or time extension built into them. So, it is our individual choice, whether to spend most of our lives in sickly expression with little contribution to the overall plan, or in pure positive progression on all levels. The overall plan has now progressed to where the contrast elements (negativity) are minimizing at a faster rate and on a larger scale than ever before.
So, just what constitutes this glitch that we mentioned earlier? Remember? The one where there must be some sort of alteration of energies to allow the contrast realm to seem so believable? Again, it is a "seemingly glitch" and not a real one, but one that has allowed the whole stage of progression to play out. We started this humanity adventure in an almost total separation state where we experienced very little realization of the absolutes of Spirit Realm and our "birthrights" therein. We, as humans, felt abandoned, lost, cut off, sinful, rejected, shamed, threatened, and a whole host of separation feelings. Now, these feelings of separation were only available to the human race because a tiny speck of "I AM" consciousness was in place. Otherwise we would not have been aware of anything to be separated from. This "I AM" consciousness; where is it? As we are in this physical realm, we tend to need a physical location for all the pieces of ourselves. We can eventually handle the fact that our Higher Selves are actually Oneness with everything but now we are getting down to our own consciousness. We are so involved with the journeys of this physical body and the properties of this entire physical realm that we really don't want to hear about our consciousness existing anywhere but in the same physical package as the brain (or at least in the body somewhere). You guessed it, they are different in design and purpose so they do not constitute the same location; nor even the same type of housing quarters. The brain is the physical counterpart of it's driver, the mind, which is not physical. The brain acts like a limited computer that is programmed to run the physics of the body only. The mind is also like a computer that is taking in information, processing it and commanding the brain accordingly. Those two work together much like a personal computer and a printer. The printer has it's own small computer board to handle the workings of the printer to produce the resultant print-outs only. The printer only gets it's information and commands from the main computer. The main computer, however, gets it's commands from (1) an outside operator (Spirit), (2) all the physical life experiences, and (3) the processor within. Our consciousness is a lot like the processor that is inside the main computer.
So, here is an analogy of how it all works. The ME/I AM portion of us is the owner, operator designer and programmer of this unique individual expression. Much like a designer/ builder of a PC today who is also running it. Remember, the printed pages (physical life) are the end result and have no control over the entering, programming, or processing of the information. Each lifetime is like getting a new printer connected up to our same PC. The mind is like the PC that has all the programs, and files stored for easy access and reference. The processor inside the PC actually delegates which program is to be opened, and which file to use during any given situation. Our consciousness is that processor and does have a strong influence as to where all the information is stored and when and how it is applied. All of this is, however, subject to the commands of the keyboard operator, our Higher Self.
Where is this Mind? As it is eternal, it is also infinite, however, it helps to visualize it as our aura. That might help to understand why, whenever you change your disposition, or mood, the color of your aura changes. That change would be a decision of the processor (consciousness) to run a different program (mind) which changes what is displayed on the monitor (aura) and changes the info to the printer (brain) which ultimately changes what is printed out (body and events). If the consciousness chooses a particular program (whether it is positive or negative) consistently for enough times, the computer will automatically go to that program and not require any leading. We all have a bunch of those "automatic" run programs within our mind that we have put there, either on purpose or by allowance. An example would be when someone says a particular something and it just pushes a button within us and we react. That button has been pre-programmed into our mind at sometime in the past and, we may not have even been aware of it.
So there you have it, all the working parts. But Wait, I thought Spirit was on the keyboard? How does that part of us cooperate with the rest of us without just bullying the programs or processor or printer around? You know, allow individual expression and yet gently keep on the afore mentioned paths? Now we get to explore the language of our self. These parts are never going to work together if there isn't a common language for us to use to communicate back and forth within ourselves. Talking to ourselves may help but that expression is a result of some internal language and does not replace it. This internal language is a bit like the electricity that flows through the wires to all the computer components. It's how the printer (for one example) gets the information from the computer and relays back it's own response. That language in us is summed up in one word "feelings".
Now the word "feelings" covers a lot of area so we better break that down some. The feeling of "gratitude" is a communication from our Spirit, whereas the feeling of "greed" is a communication from a program in our Mind, whereas the feeling of "physical pain" is a communication from our body. The consciousness part of us, which is the decision making part of us for this physical realm, also known as will power, decides what to do with all of the different "feeling" communications. Now, which set of feelings do we want to send to the printer for the final action in each situation? Decision time. More on those "feelings" later.
We have, in fact, so many of these decisions to make in every single moment that we set many responses up in automatic run programs. Some of us have set up so many automatic run programs that our consciousness can literally disengage. We have all day-dreamed while actively doing something (like driving) and then snap back to wonder what happened the last few moments. We have relinquished our will to our own automatic run programs. And then, in extreme situations we tend to blame some outside physical factor, such as alcohol, or cigarettes, or drugs, or a dominating person, or an entrapment job, when, back in the beginning we were the ones who originally set up that scenario. A bit of a hard pill to swallow at times but this is self awareness which also requires self acceptance. The Spirit portion of us has never changed those eternal plans for our travels in this physical realm, so we are ALL at exactly the right place at this very moment. You are, in fact, right now, reading this and realizing your entirety because this is just the right time in your progression to do so. These words are now actively nurturing a realization through your consciousness that is implementing a major transition of pure positive progression within you. You don't have to apply a technique of "force" here, just allow this to happen and think "cooperation" with your own progressional transition.
By the way, there is a big difference between learning and realizing. Learning is when information is fed into the Mind from the physical realm, like a simple 2 + 2 = 4. Whereas, realization is when that same information, in the form of Life is activated in the Mind. Like, when you have 2 apples and someone gives you 2 more and suddenly you have 4 apples. One avenue is information and the other is Life. Our Spirit uses information through our consciousness to open a file in the Mind which then becomes realization, or Life. Our Mind is eternal and thus contains all knowledge, all wisdom, all understanding, (absolute cooperation and absolute communication with all that is) and, in fact, our complete eternal DNA details are there. So, the information is all already in us, and always has been, just like we have "always been". My desire is that no one "learns" a thing from reading the words on these pages but that realization is the result, because Life energy is then released (opened up) in the reader. We have all experienced the dilemma of trying to help someone to "see" something but they, and sometimes we, just can't get it through the head. In other words, the information just doesn't want to become life to the person. Those closed files are "Not Realized" features of Self and the locks on those files are due to either conditioning or timing. Now, a conditioning lock has been applied to a file by either culture or conscious choices. An example of the culture block would be "Dumb Blondes" that some blondes accept and live by. An example of the conscious mind conditioning would be when someone continually says, "I'll never learn that skill" when it is actually well within their abilities. This lock can be released and the file opened by your decision at any given moment. The second reason that a file doesn't open at this time is Spirit timing. If it seems like you are really banging your head against a closed file, you may want to pursue cooperation as a focus because the opening of that file may be subject to other files being released first. In other words, you may not be able to change a tendency like depression or rage because Spirit has you teaching others later on from your extensive experience. As your consciousness and Spirit join forces and cooperation flows, peace, love of Self, and joy in living are evident by-products.
So let's discover our "feelings" a little bit more. I like to refer to them as the great motivator. If we are sad we are motivated to do a particular course of action whereas if we are happy we will probably act differently. We do all sorts of expressions to be noticed, or accepted, or loved; that we would not do unless we had feelings that motivated action. It's rather like a horse drawn carriage. We sit in the carriage with all of this potential energy in front of us. We sit there with lots of choices. We can keep the reigns tight and not allow the carriage to move at all because we don't want to deal with the decisions of guiding the horse (emotions). Men, in general, are good at this practice. Or we can throw the reigns down and slap the horse on the rear and let him (emotions) make all the decisions. Women, in general, are good at this practice. Or we can take hold of the reigns and allow the horse (emotions) to motivate us down a path by our guidance.
Our feelings generally portray a "lack vs. abundance" from the contrast realm where pretty vs. ugly, or smart vs. dumb, or acceptable vs. unacceptable pushes the buttons of motivation. We generally seek the abundance feelings but tend to act from the lacking feelings. Another way to say that is how we spend so much time and energy trying to chase out the darkness (or lacking) in our lives that we miss our own ability to turn on the light (abundance). That contrast of "lack vs. abundance", has been programmed into the Mind since We/I AM originally designed it. But WE also designed the Mind as the eternal storehouse of ALL feelings; which also includes "no-contrast" feelings. All of these unlimited resources of "no-contrast" feelings are also present within our own mind. We, as consciousness, continually have the unique opportunity to lock up, or prioritize, or replace the displays of any of these feelings. An example would be if I became very defensive in a seemingly harmless situation. Now a defensive emotion is trying to protect something that obviously feels threatened. What feels threatened? Whether it is real or imaginary, something definitely feels threatened. Let's say my honor as a champion chess player is what feels threatened. I now wonder what else is in that file that could display a threatened (defensive) feeling. I can go into the file that is called "Self Worth or Honor" and see just what I have placed in there as constituting my self worth. As I discover different labels in that file (maybe manhood, or strength, or wealth, etc) I have the unique opportunity to apply a switch here. Not by slamming the file shut and suppressing the contents which will, at some later time, fly open in my face due to lack of attention, but by switching each label (one at a time) with a "no contrast" label. Each person can go through their own files and replace labels with custom unique labels that work for them. An example could be; my self worth is determined by my eternal qualities, I am eternal life, I am omnipotent, I am total cooperation with all that is, I am absolute communication, I am eternal wisdom, I am "I AM", etc. These are "No-contrast" labels where there is no "less than" nor "greater than" what is labeled. Whereas, in this contrast realm, there is no such thing as eternal, total, nor absolute. The closest to number 1 that anyone can be in this contrast realm is to be a world record setter. But, later someone better will come along and set a new record and the number 1 person is now number 2. Not so in the no-contrast realm where we are all number 1.
This procedure of substituting or switching feeling files is not a one time procedure. We have all sorts of cluttered miscellaneous labels within many different files of our Mind. This is the joy of the journey within. This is the joy of discovering "I AM/ME". When a person starts replacing original contents within files with "no-contrast" contents, the affects ripple throughout that person's entire being. By-products soon start showing up like happiness and inner peace (irregardless of events), and understanding (tough issues like violence and death).
Who Are We? We are the most amazing creative display of contrast energy forms that began existence in a seemingly chaotic doomed demonstration of separateness and discouragement, to progress to absolute harmony and encouraged leadership of no-contrast oneness among ourselves as humans and ourselves as "I AM".
